Host a community event focused on traffic safety. Reach out to community partners and plan an event at your school or in your community. Including Social media campaigns and viral challenges, Virtual awareness events, in-person events, or Partnerships with other local organizations.
Start planning your event. Provided is a 3-Step Event Planning Checklist (courtesy of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) and the CDC Event Planning Guide to help in preparing and carrying out your event.
Work with school administrators and school groups to coordinate. Set a date and goal for the event.
Upload photos or screens of your school completing the activity and click Submit Points. This activity can be submitted up to 5 times per school.
