How do you Keep It Real Behind The Wheel as a teen driver? Let the Reduce KY Crashes team know how you choose to stay safe while driving in a short clip. Take a short video of yourself using the phrase “I Keep It Real Behind The Wheel by…” and then filling in the rest of the statement with how you do that. Try to use real-life examples, and if your video sticks out to our team, it may be highlighted on our socials for Distracted Driving Awareness Month in April

Please save your video with your school name and KIR. Example: Reduce KY Crashes High School KIR
These videos will be highlighted during the month of April for Distracted Driving Awareness.
Video submissions can not be accepted if a participant is operating a vehicle. Please take your video in a parked/engine off vehicle or outside the vehicle.
Example: I Keep It Real Behind The Wheel by making sure myself and my passengers are buckled up before turning the key.
Create your 15 second video following the Keep It Real directions.
Submit your video to kytchwysafety@ky.gov. Submit a screen shot of the video to Reduce KY Crashes.
In your activity submission make sure to include your school name, activity being completed, and your video.
Check Reduce KY Crashes socials in April to see if your video got chosen as one of our highlighted entries!
This activity can be submitted up to 20 times per school.
